My dad just forwarded Matt's obit in the Oregonian. I haven't known Matt since high school, when we ran against each other (I went to Lincoln) in cross country and track, but I just remember he was a really nice guy, I'd always look forward to the meets just to hang for a second even though we were competing against each other (and he always beat me). I think we may have gone for a couple runs in the off-season as well.
Anyway - he's someone who I will always remember being a really good dude. His passing is a tragedy. Very sorry for your loss.
Indeed. Someone should make their departed family member a memorial page on evertalk so that they will still be able to see their loveones memento here on the internet for all time.
